Stem Cell Therapy

What is stem cell therapy?

Stem cell therapy is a type of treatment for knee arthritis and back pain that uses your body’s cells to aid in tissue repair and faster recovery.

Stem cells are so useful because of how versatile they are. They can actually transform into a bunch of different types of cells, like blood cells, bone cells, or muscle cells, depending on what you need and what pain you’re experiencing.

How does stem cell therapy work?

Obtaining the cells

The first step is to collect the stem cells. Stem cells can be found in different parts of your body, like bone marrow or fat.

Separating the cells

Next we separate the cells within our lab, allowing us to work in a controlled environment where we can get enough to inject in the area of discomfort.

Injecting the stem cells

We inject the cells into the target area. Once the cells reach the painful area, the cells will transform into the specialized cell that your body needs. Those cells will then repair your tissue.
